BS>A method is described for testing coatings for tiny holes. It is applicable to metal claddings on uranium. The coating to be tested is exposed to H/sub 2/ at 200 to 30O deg C. Holes which allow the H/sub 2/ to react with the U are made obvious by black or brownish-black reaction product deposits. (T.R.H.)
