An examination was conducted to observe the extent and location of corrosion, crud deposits, and defects in components of the PWR plant. Smear samples were obtained from the heater elements. The radioactive nuclides found include Co/sup 60/, Fe/sup 59/, Mn/sup 54/, Cr/sup 51/ Hf/sup 181/ and Zr/sup 95 / . No defects, serious distortions, or exoessive crud buildup were found. (J.R.D.)
