BS>Evidence is presented for rsdical isomerization during radiolysis of neopentane. In the radiolysis of liquid ethane, an EPR absorption spectrum was observed which is completely consistent with the usual structure assumed for the ethyl radical. The photolysis of phosgene was studied in the presence of ethylene at 69 deg C. Mass spectrometric studies showed tbat in gases of high electron affinity, certain anion-molecule reactions can occur with cross sections of the order of 100 A/sub 2/. (For preceding period see RRL-38.) (C.J.G.)
