A NOTE ON THE REACTION Zn$sup 64$$($$gamma$,n)Zn$sup 6$$sup 3$

Journal Article · · Canadian Journal of Physics (Canada)
DOI:https://doi.org/10.1139/p60-030· OSTI ID:4177407
The activation curve for reaction Zn/sup 64/( gamma ,n)Zn/sup 63/ was determined from threshold to 23 Mev. The absolute yield was 1.60 x 10/sup 8/ n/ mole 100r at 22 Mev. Using the method of Penfold and Leiss, the maximum cross section was calculated to be 48 mb and 0.33 Mev-barn. These results were lower than the values obtained by other authors. (C.J.G.)
