GYROMAGNETIC FACTORS OF DEFORMED ODD-MASS NUCLEI WITH 153 /less than or equal to/ A /less than or equal to/ 187
Recently available experimental data are combined to obtai accurate values of the reduced magnetic dipole transition probabilities between rotational states of deformed odd-mass nuclei. These results are interpreted on the basis of the rotational model to yield the gyromagnetic factors g/sub R/ and g/sub K/. It appears that the values of g/sub R/ vary rather smoothly with the atomic number and have a minimum at A approx equal 170, and that g/sub R/ is smaller for odd neutron nuclei than for odd proton nuclei.
