A polarxgraphic method was developed for the analysis of niobium in zirconium base alloys containing tin: A sample was dissolved in a mixture of sulfuric, hydrochloric and fluoboric acids and fumdd witu sulfuric acid. The resulting sulfuric acid solution was diluted to volume, and the niobium wns determined from its peak at -0.950 v vs. SCE using a cathdde may polarograph. (auth)
