SCATTERING OF KAONS WITH /anti K/K$pi$$pi$ COUPLING IN THE FIXED-SOURCE THEORY

The fixed-source approach to koan scattering has been reported. A possibility was shown to exist for a T = 1 resonance at high energies for scattering of kaons on nucleons. A possible kaon interaction would enable the use of a considerably smaller value for the N-barYK coupling constant to avoid the T = 1 resonance and toget the correct cross section value. It has been pointed out by Barshay that a K-barK pi pi interaction possesses the properties to meet these requirements. Thus, a new agreement is gained for the existence of the K-barK pi pi interaction. (B.O.G.)
