RESPONSE SPECTRA FOR GAMMA RAYS IN CsI
Response spectra for gamma rays incident on cesium iodide (thallium- activated) crystals were calculated for two crystals. The crystals considered were right circular cylinders and the gamma-ray energies were 0.661. 1.83, 2.76, and 3.13 Mev. Comparisons between the response spectra for CsI(Tl) and NaI(Tl) crystals of the same size ire presented. (auth) tion of the large pulses due to heavy particle recoils from neutrons. (auth)
