Results are reported from a cytological analysis of chromosome aberrations in root tip cells of Vicia faba, Allium cepa, andd Pisum sativum induced by x radiation or chemical radiomimetic substances. Emphasis was placed on the chemical nature of induced broken ends of chromosomes. (C.H.)
