IRRADIATION OF EXPERIMENTAL GRAPHITES
Technical Report
·
OSTI ID:4157208
A number of experimental graphites prepared as possible fuel matrix materials by hot molding or hot working were irradiated at 450 and 1400 deg C to approximates 2 x 10/sup 21/ nvt. A NPR needle coke graphite was included as a reference. The radiation effects on the dimensions and crystal structures of the fuel matrix, NPR reference, and AGOT control are compared. Thermal conductivity was also measured on the unirradiated and irradiated NPR graphite. (D.L.C.)
