SINGLE ISOTOPE CALCIUM METAL TARGETS
A method was developed for the preparation of single isotope calcium metal targets wherein the conversion of calcium carbonate to the metal and evaporation of the metal is a single operation. Calcium targets of 200 mu g/cm/ sup 3/ were prepared by the methond on 30 mu g/cm/sup 2/ carbon substrates for use in a cyclotron. (P.C.H.)
