DRIFT VELOCITIES OF ELECTRONS IN ARGON, NITROGEN AND ARGON MIXTURES

Journal Article · · Nuclear Instr. & Methods
Drift velocities of electrons produced by fission fragments in a parallel-plate ionization chamber were measured in argon, nitrogen, and mixtures of gases, such as argon-nitrogen, argon-carbon dioxide, and argon-methane. The results obtained are compared with data reported in the literature. (auth)
