THE RADIOACTIVE FALLOUT IN SWEDEN 1957-1958

Measurements were made in Sweden in 1957 and 1958 of the radioactive fall-out in air (at ground level) and in precipitation. The monthly beta activity was measured one month after the end of the sampling period at 10 stations. The 30-yr infinite plane dose was calculated at three of the stations. Airborne radioactivity, total radioactive deposition, and accumulated deposition of Cs/sup 137/ were determined. (M.C.G.)
