Induced-emission cross sections for the 4F3/24I13/2 transition in neodymium laser glasses

Induced-emission cross sections for the 4F3/24I13/2 transition of Nd$sup 3+$ in several commercial and experimental laser glasses have been determined using spectroscopic data and the Judd-Ofelt treatment of electric-dipole transition probabilities.
