HEAT TRANSFER WITH FLOWING LIQUIDS IN A HORIZONTAL TUBE WITH NATURAL CONVECTION (in German)

In the theory of convective heat transfer the influence of the relationship between temperature and substance parameters (viscosity, density) on the heat-transfer index in the transition zone between laminar and turbulent flow has not yet been explained. Therefore, a semi-theoretical equation has been set up for heat transfer with natural convection in a horizontal tube and measurements of the heat-transfer index for water on heating and cooling in a horizontal double-tube heat exchanger have been used to check the equation.
