Meteorological effects of the cooling towers at the Oak Ridge Gaseous Diffusion Plant. II. Predictions of fog occurrence and drift deposition

Technical Report ·
OSTI ID:4150822

The frequency of occurrence of fogs and the rate of deposition of chromate due to emissions from the cooling towers at the Oak Ridge Gaseous Diffusion Plant are calculated. Observations of drift deposition agree fairly well with calculated values. A detailed summary of significant findings is given. (auth)
