This guide describes a preoperational test program acceptable to the staff specifically for emergency core cooling systems (ECCS) in pressurized water reactor power plants. Although this guide is applicable to all pressurized water reactors, certain aspects may not be completely applicable to specific nuclear steam supply designs. (auth)
