E&P Forum Guidelines for the Development and Application of Health, Safety and Environmental Management System (HSEMS) has been used as a tool for several companies within the Oil Industry. This paper describes the various elements used by Saga Petroleum ASA, Norway. It contains the basic elements addressed in the guidelines and in addition how various aspects have been operationalized in the company. It also outlines the ongoing implementation and inter-relationship with the European Foundation of Quality Management, and some results achieved during the last years.
