RADIOISOTOPES IN THE 1962 DIET

Determinations were made of the content of Sr/sup 90/, Sr/sup 89/, Cs/ sup 137/, and stable Ca in samples of typical diets of teenagers in 30 widely scattered locations throughout the U. S. during 1962. Data are tabulated and are compared with data on the diet of infants during the same period. The contributions of wheat and milk to radioactivity of the diets are discussed. (C.H.)
