Spectral-function sum rules, asymptotic SU$sub 4$, and vector-meson leptonic decays

The spectral function sum rules corresponding to the asymptotic SU$sub 4$ symmetry are used to study the decays of the vector mesons rho, $omega$, phi, and psi (3105) into electron-positron pairs. The Glashow-Iliopoulos-Maiani model gives reasonable predictions. (AIP)
