Proton states in $sup 87$Rb

The $sup 86$Kr($sup 3$He, d)$sup 87$Rb reaction has been studied at a bombarding energy of 18 MeV. The isotopically enriched $sup 86$Kr target was contained in a gas cell with no entrance window. Excitation energies and angular distributions were obtained for 60 levels below 7 MeV in $sup 87$Rb. A distorted- wave analysis was used to determine l values and spectroscopic strengths. The results are compared with previous data from transfer reactions and radioactive decay. (AIP)
