It is shown that the inclusive e$sup +$$e$$sup -$ annihilation process, e$sup +$$e$$sup -$ $Yields$ $pi$ + anything, reveals scaling behavior if we use the generalized scaling variable introduced by Bloom and Gilman in the analysis of the deep-inelastic scattering data. The scaling function is related to the pion form factor through the inclusive-exclusive connection. We derive a sum rule which relates the pion form factor to the scaling function.
