MUON CAPTURE IN NEON

By exploiting the transfer process ( mu /sup -/p) + Ne yields p + ( mu /sup -/Ne), the disappearance rate of negative muons bound to neon nuclei was measured to be lambda = (0.658 plus or minus 0.010) x 10/sup 6/ sec/sup -1/. (auth)
