Movements of radioactive fall-out and precipitates in river and ground water were measured in Poland during 1957. The data were collected by four stations located in Krakow, Warsaw-Zeran, Legionowo, and Gdynia. These stations carried out their measurements independently of each other, using different methods of collecting and preparing samples and different radiometric devices. All stations, however, calibrated their measuring devices by means of natural potassium. (auth)
