Title: Charge asymmetry in the muonic decay of the K$$0\atop{2}$$

Abstract

The charge asymmetry R ≡ Γ(K$$°\atop{L}$$ → π -μ +vμ)/ Γ(K$$°\atop{L}$$ → π +μ -$$\bar{v}$$ μ) is measured to be 1.0098 ± .0032. Data is taken with scintillation counters and optical thin-plate and thick-plate spark chambers are used for calibration of systematic effects.
