The Sandia Pulsed Reactor Facility is specifically designed for radiation effects experiments that require an intense pulsed source of fast neutrons and gamma radiation. Designed around the Sandia Pulsed Reactor (SPR), the facility includes four buildings and an outdoor burst site. The SPR is a bare, cylindrical, enriched-uranium assembly based on the Godiva II design. (W.D.M.)
