OSTI ID:4137567

The effects of diet differences in Sr/sup 90/ uptake by humans were considered in this study of Sr/sup 90/ uptake by children. Consumption habits of children and juveniles were established, and the Sr/sup 90/ contents of the principal foods were obtained. The amount of Sr/sup 90/ offered in food of children was thus estimated at 8 to 13 pc per day at a level of approximately 13 pc Sr/sup 90//g calcium.
