In the two chondrites Kapoeta and Abee, outstanding rare gas content was found. From the amount and isotopic composition, it is concluded that primordial rare gases were included in these meteorites. Kapoeta contains all rare gases in excess, whereas Abee has mainly the heavier rare gases as primordial component. The Ne/sup 20//Ne/sup 22/ and Ar/sup 36// Ar/sup 38/ ratios show large deviations from atmospheric neon and argon. No such large deviations could be found for krypton and xenon. (auth)
