The elastic and inelastic $alpha$-scattering from the isotopes $sup 110$Cd, $sup 112$Cd, $sup 114$Cd, $sup 116$Cd and $sup 124$Te, $sup 126$Te, $sup 128$Te is investigated in the region of the Coulomb barrier. The elastic excitation functions at scattering angles of 175$sup 0$, +-120$sup 0$, +-60$sup 0$ and the inelastic excitation functions for the first 0$sup +$ $Yields$ 2$sup +$ transition at the angle 175$sup 0$ were thus measured for these isotopes. The evaluation of the Coulomb excitation within the inelastic excitation gave the B(E2, 0$sup +$ $Yields$ 2$sup +$) values for these transitions. The experimentally measured cross sections could be fitted to all isotopes in the total energy range between 7 MeV and 17 MeV within the framework of a DWBA analysis using a deformed 4-parameter potential.
