Journal Article · · Umsch. Wiss. Tech., v. 75, no. 13, p. 395

By the year 1980 twenty new nuclear power plants should be in operation supplying 25% of the electricity. By 1985 another twenty nuclear power plants should be ready to take over altogether 45% of the electricity. The German nuclear industry is prepared for this production volume. Some trouble is caused by initiatives of citizens, protesting against special sites leading to delays. This means that planning will have to start earlier to stay within the time schedules. (orig.)
