determination of O.l to l ppm of boron in uranium (metal, U/sub 3/O/sub 8/, and uranyl sulfate). Uranium metal was first converted to U/sub 3/O/sub 8/, and the oxide was dissolved in sulfuric acid and hydrogen peroxide. Boron was separated by distillation as methyl borate from sulfuric acid solution, and finally determined by the curcumin method. (auth)
