RESISTIVITY OF THE ORDERED ALLOY Fe-Ni (50 percent-50 percent) UNDER NEUTRON IRRADIATION (in French)

Journal Article · · Compt. Rend.
OSTI ID:4133468

By studying the diminution of the electric resistivity during irradiation at decreasing temperatures, an evaluation is made of the critical temperature for the orderdisorder transition in the FeNi alloy under consideration. This temperature is determined to be 321 plus or minus 2 deg C. The study of the kinetics of the establishment of short-range order seems to indicate the predominance of vacancy-interstitial recombination. (tr-auth)
