PRODUCTION OF BREMSSTRAHLUNG BY LONGITUDINALLY POLARIZED ELECTRON-PROTON COLLISIONS

The differential cross section for the production of bremsstrahlung in the high-energy collisions of longitudinally polarized electrons and protons was calculated considering the effect of the anomalous magnetic moment and the recoil of the proton. The matrix element for the bremsstrahlung of the proton was neglected and so the formula is valid when the angle between the directions of the electron and the photon is of the order of mc/p (m and p being the mass and momentum of the electron, respectively).
