The hyperfine structure of nuclear lines in paramagnetic substances in the absence of a magnetic field is considered. Relaxation of the electron angular momentum is assumed to be of a spin-lattice nature. A diagram method is developed that yields the explicit form of the corresponding correlative function and hence the absorption spectrum of gamma quantum in crystals over a broad range of temperature and for an arbitrary relation between the relaxation frequencies and characteristic frequencies of the hyperfine interaction. The results are analyzed for limiting cases and also in simple cases corresponding to an electron angular momentum J = 3/ and to a large electron angular momentum. (auth)
