The heats of sublimation (or vaporization) of Nd, Pr, Gd. Tb, Dy, Ho, Er, and Lu were determined from massspectrographic measurements of the metal-ion intensity variations with temperature at fixed electron energies of 20 to 25 ev. The tests were conducted to test the spectrometer sensitivity and to obtain values for use in effusion studies. Data are included. (J.R.D.)
