Radiation burden due to radionuclides released from nuclear power plants and reprocessing plants (in German)

Journal Article · · Radiologe, v. 15, no. 6, pp. 590-597
OSTI ID:4129898

The additional radiation exposure to the population due to radionuclides released from nuclear facilities is at present much lower than the extent of variations of the natural radiation exposure to larger population groups. It will increase in the future, but it will fall within the extent of variations of the natural radiation burden if the first large reprocessing plants will already be equipped with H3 and Kr 85 extraction plants for separation efficiencies of about 99%.
