A gamma camera with a plurality of photomultipliers arranged for locating flashes of light produced by a scintillator in response to incident radiation is described. Individual pulse shaping circuits are utilized for forming pulses in accordance with the energy received by each photomultiplier. The pulse signals obtained for each of the photomultipliers are combined to provide X and Y coordinate location signals, such ones of the pulse signals as having predetermined amplitudes being selected for display.
