RADIOCARBON DATING: TECHNIQUES

Journal Article · · Proc. Indian Acad. Sci., Sect. A
OSTI ID:4128060

The radiocarbon method and the specific techniques that were used to date samples from Indian archaeological sites dating back to Harappa Culture are described. As a result of extensive radiocarbon determinations, a general confidence exists that, except in certain cases, the degree of contamination is usually small, being less than 2% in most cases.
