Data on 13,000 persons 15 yr of age or older obtained during detailed clinical examinations, including radiologically recorded heart size, were correlated with sex, age, height, and weight of subjects to arrive at a standard heart size for Hiroshima residents. The information will be used in investigations of cardiovascular disease in the population. (C.H.)
