A method for the determination of sulphur in sodium, involving the chemical separation of chlorine 34m, is described. 10$sup -2$$mu$g.g$sup -1$ sulphur in sodium can be determined by this method, which takes less than an hour and gives a precipitate of high radiochemical purity. The sulphur and chlorine activation curves, relative to the formation of chlorine 34m from these elements, are plotted under the experimental conditions. Some examples of analytical results are given; concentrations of 0.6$mu$g.g$sup -1$ in particular were determined. (FR)
