Selon l'invention, le reservoir comporte un corps comprenant une enveloppe interne et une enveloppe externe espacee de l'enveloppe interne, un materiau de blindage contre les rayonnements dispose dans l'espace se trouvant entre l'enveloppe interne et l'enveloppe externe, l'enveloppe interne delimitant une cavite destinee a recevoir la matiere radioactive, la section transversale de la cavite etant delimitee par trois cotes, chacun des trois cotes joignant les cotes adjacents pour definir trois sommets.
