Revision 2 of JENDL-3, JENDL-3.2, was released in June 1994. The revision was made by considering the feedback information from benchmark tests of the previous version JENDL-3.1. Although JENDL-3.1 predicts various reactor characteristics much better than JENDL-2, particularly in space-dependent problems such as sodium void coefficients and C/R worths, some problems have been pointed out: The key values of uranium cores are systematically different from those of plutonium cores, the spectra in the shielding materials were not well predicted, the energy balances of some gamma-ray production data were violated, and so on.
