NAA PROGRAM DESCRIPTION--ANGULAR MOMENTUM OF FLUIDS FLOWING THROUGH PIPES

Technical Report ·
OSTI ID:4117513
Described are two modified versions of a computer code written by Thompson-Ramo-Wooldridge for calculating the angular momentum of fluids flowing through straight pipes and pipes with a constant radius of curvature. The first version is the Thompson-Ramo-Wooldridge code modified to run in the North American Aviation computing system on an IBM 7094. It also contains modifications to the input and output statements, formats, and flow rate conversion factor. The second version is for dimensional tolerance studies of the pipes using a random process. This version includes two additional subroutines. (auth)
