Angular and energy distributions of alpha particles from Li/sup 6/(d, alpha ) reactions at low deuteron energies were investigated using a 400-channel pulse analyzer. A typical charged particle spectrum at 120 deg and E/sub d/ - 1.5 Mev was developed. The results were correlated with published data based on capture interactions in the cluster model for Li/sup 6/(He/sup 4/ + d). (R.V.J.)
