Dragon Reactor automatic control. Project DRAGON

Technical Report ·
OSTI ID:4115482
The relationships of the reactor operating parameters are analysed to establish which should be varied directly to achieve overall control. Comparisons on the basis of general performance and stability are made between two methods of controlling helium outlet temperature, one working from direct measurement of temperature error and the other from measurement of flux and the integral of temperature error. The latter has been chosen to be installed in the Dragon reactor. Its circuits are described.
