Behaviour of lithium tritide
Technical Report
·
OSTI ID:4115117
Solid metallic tritides that were proposed as target materials for nuclesr reaction studies may disintegrate spontaneously when a sufficient quantity of tritium has decayed to helium. The life of a crystal of LiH is estimated to be only a few weeks. The treatment is very tentative, but seems unlikely to be grossly in error. (auth)
