Twinning in plastic deformation of zirconium was investigated. All specimens were deformed in tension on an Instron machine. The material was annealed Wah Chang arc-melted songe zirconium. Twinning modes in zirconium are described. Test results are shown in pictures and graphs. (M.C.G.)
