WAVE FUNCTIONS AND OSCILLATOR STRENGTHS FOR THE LITHIUM ISOELECTRONIC SEQUENCE

Journal Article · · Astrophysical Journal (U.S.)
DOI:https://doi.org/10.1086/147722· OSTI ID:4114061
Hartree-Fock wave functions for the 1s/sup 2/2s, 1s/sup 2/2p, 1s/sup 2/ 3s, 1s/sup 2/3p, and 1s/sup 2/3d configurations of the lithium-isoelectronic sequence through Z = 10 were calculated. Oscillator strengths for all possible transitions between these levels were computed utilizing the dipole length, velocity, and acceleration forms of the transition matrix element. In addition, the 2s-2p transition was calculated using a 45term configuration interaction function for both states. (auth)
