The 1974 December 28 (UT) lunar occulation of the Crab Nebula has been observed in the 0.6--23 keV X-ray range at a position angle of 300degree. Reappearance of the region from 62'' west of the pulsar NP 0532 to 62'' east was observed. Analysis of the nonpulsed portion of the data reveals that the X-ray centroid is 12''./sub /8plus-or-minus0''./sub /3 west of the pulsar, averaged over the 0.6--23 keV range. The total width of the X-ray distribution has a mean value of 60''./sub /5plus-or-minus1''./sub /5 and decreases with increasing photon energy. (AIP)
