IMAGINARY PART OF THE DELBRUCK SCATTERING AMPLITUDE

Journal Article · · Physical Review (U.S.) Superseded in part by Phys. Rev. A, Phys. Rev. B: Solid State, Phys. Rev. C, and Phys. Rev. D
A method for computing the imaginary part of the Delbruck scattering amplitude, based on an expression derived by Kessler, was developed and applied for gamma ray energies of 2.62 and 6.14 Mev. The significance of the calculation with regard to available experimental results is discussed and some possible further developments are outlined. (auth)
